- 東風夜放花千樹The east wind at night makes a thousand trees blossom,
- 更吹落星如雨and blows down stars like rain.
- 寶馬彫車香滿路Fine horses and carved carriages — fragrance fills the road;
- 鳳簫聲動phoenix flutes sound,
- 玉壺光轉the jade-pot moon turns,
- 一夜魚龍舞all night long the fish and dragon lanterns dance.
